Design
Our in-house engineering staff has the tools and expertise for mechanical, electronic, and electro-mechanical design. We use advanced solid modeling software that allows our designers and customers to evaluate aesthetics, fit, and function before tooling begins.
Prototyping
By developing your product as a computer-based model we are able to make efficient use of rapid prototyping technologies. Initial prototypes can be generated in a few days, and small runs in a few weeks. Electronic prototypes can also be created in a few days by our in-house technical staff. Prototypes are invaluable for validating the design concept, as well as field testing and marketing samples.
Manufacturing
Mars has global resources to get your product manufactured. With over thirty years of importing experience, we know the "ins and outs" of international commerce. We certify and monitor our vendors, and our on-site personnel ensure continued quality. By insulating you from the process, Mars lets you get offshore prices without the risk.
We also offer world-class injection molding and assembly in our ISO-9001 approved affiliate in New Jersey. Featuring over 40 presses, ranging from 50 to 750 tons, we are equipped to handle a variety of decorating, assembly, and packaging needs. Many products take the best of both worlds, with electronics and other internal components purchased overseas, and molding, assembly, and packaging performed domestically.
