Inventory Management and Control
Inventory Management is about keeping your carrying costs down while giving you the flexibility to get your products quickly when you need them. These seemingly contradictory goals are even more difficult to achieve when sourcing product overseas.
At GRT-Mars we have an entire department that is dedicated to ensuring the smooth flow of materials from the component stage through production, shipping, and finally reaching your facility. We use long-range forecasting and scheduling to make sure adequate product is in the pipeline to meet your needs, and provide weekly reports to our customers that show them the status of all of their product at a glance.
We use a variety of techniques to minimize production and shipping delays, including pre-purchasing and stocking long-lead components, placing blanket orders, combining purchases for similar products, consolidating shipments, and handling all customs paperwork promptly and accurately. We also work with our customers to build up buffer stocks at our warehouse, or drop ship from the manufacturing facility worldwide.
Our focus is on eliminating the administrative burden for our customers, and allowing you to focus on what you do best - develop innovative products.
