Solid Model Provides Virtual Manufacturing Study
GRT-MARS utilized SDRC I-deas Master Series Solid Modeler to develop an advanced garage door opener system. The Drive Head blended plastics, metals and electronic components into a stylish assembly to obtain optimum functionality and refreshing look.
The Client's engineers working directly with GRT staff utilized the "solid" components to investigate assembly options. Virtual manufacturing permitted the development of unique component designs and assembly techniques that reduced assembly labor and final product cost.
